2 Legal basis and terms
Data processing is carried out in compliance with the Swiss Data Protection Act (DSG) and, if applicable, the General Data Protection Regulation of the European Union (GDPR).

This is any information relating to an identified or identifiable natural person (hereinafter “data subject”). It is therefore data that can be traced back to a person. This personal data includes first and last names, social media usernames, telephone numbers and email addresses. Personal data also includes information on hobbies, memberships and preferences as well as websites that have been accessed, including your IP address.

Personal data that is particularly worthy of protection within the meaning of the FADP:

3 Permissibility of the processing of personal data
According to the Swiss Data Protection Act, it is sufficient to inform users about the processing of personal data. For the processing of particularly sensitive personal data, however, the express consent of the data subject is required or the legislator must expressly authorize the processing. Consent can be revoked. Otherwise, it is sufficient to inform users about the processing of personal data.
If the EU GDPR applies, a justification is required for any processing of personal data (Art. 6 para. 1 GDPR). A justification exists if:
– The data subject has given their consent to the processing of their personal data for one or more specific purposes (lit. a);
– The processing is necessary for the performance of a contract or for the implementation of pre-contractual measures, whereby the data subject is a contracting party or potential contracting party to the contract (lit. b);

– The processing is necessary for compliance with a legal obligation (lit. e);
– Processing is necessary for the purposes of the legitimate interests pursued by the controller or by a third party, except where such interests are overridden by the interests or fundamental rights and freedoms of the data subject which require protection of personal data, in particular where the data subject is a child (point (f)).
4 Scope, purpose and duration of the processing of personal data
– Scope and purpose
We process personal data to the extent necessary to carry out our activities and operations in a user-friendly, secure and permanently reliable manner. This includes in particular the recording, administration and processing of contracts.
Personal data may also be processed for communication purposes, in particular data transmitted by a data subject when making contact, for example by post, e-mail or contact form. We may store such data in an address book or with comparable tools.
We process personal data primarily on the basis of the data subject’s consent. We may refrain from obtaining consent if and insofar as the processing is permitted for other legal reasons. For example, we may process personal data without consent in order to fulfill a contract, to comply with legal obligations or to protect overriding interests.
– Involvement of third parties in Switzerland and abroad

On our website, we use Google Tag Manager, a service provided by Google LLC (1600 Amphitheatre Parkway, Mountain View, CA 94043, USA; “Google. We use WooCommerce to manage our online store. This includes product presentation, the ordering process, payment processing and stock management. When using WooCommerce, users’ personal data may be collected and processed. WooCommerce is connected via the zahls.ch plugin for WooCommerce with the payment service from Switzerland provided by Siebenberge GmbH, Neu St. Johann. The data collected is used to process a sales contract via the online platform, including payment or preparatory actions for the possible conclusion of a contract. The data is also used for any subsequent customer support and, if necessary, for marketing measures. The data will not be passed on to third parties other than those who support us in the provision of services and sale of goods. Any use for our own purposes by third parties is excluded. Otherwise, data will only be passed on if we are legally obliged to do so.
Collected data is included:
– Order data: Information on the products purchased, order numbers, transaction details and delivery status
– Customer data: Personal data such as name, e-mail address, delivery and billing address and telephone number provided during the ordering process.
– Payment data: Payment information is securely forwarded to the payment service providers we use. WooCommerce does not store complete payment data itself.
– Technical data: IP address, browser type and version and other technical information necessary for the functionality and security of the website.
– Chat function via the communication platform of tidio.co
For the live chat on our website, we use the Tidio service, provided by Tidio LLC, based at 149 New Montgomery Street (San Francisco, CA 94105 U.S.A.) and Tidio Poland Sp. z o.o., based in Szczecin, 81 Wojska Polskiego Street (70-481, Szczecin, Poland). The data entered during the chat, including personal data, may be stored for the logging function. Tidio states that it complies with the data protection provisions of the GDPR, Tidio is part of the EU-US Data Privacy Framework (“EU-US DPF”) and the Swiss-US Data Privacy Framework (“Swiss-US DPF”), which are committed to maintaining a high standard of data protection. Automated decision making, including profiling, may take place within the chat in order to predict your behavior or concerns so that we can provide you with the best possible benefit from the chat function. (i.e. to enable you to take advantage of our benefits and support your use).
9 Data security
We take appropriate technical and organizational security precautions to protect your personal data from unauthorized access and misuse. When transferring data online, we use state-of-the-art encryption methods (e.g. SSL) via HTTPS.
10 Rights of the data subject
If you have given us your consent to process your personal data for specific purposes, we will process your data within the scope of this consent, unless we have another justification.
