The Blade: RGB or Pixel?

This is where the biggest difference in performance and price lies:

RGB (“Baselit” or In-Hilt LED)

The LED is located in the hilt and illuminates the hollow blade. Since there are no electronics inside the blade, it cannot be damaged.

• Advantages: Extremely durable, ideal for intense dueling and more affordable.

• Disadvantages: Less dynamic lighting effects and lower brightness.

Pixel (Neopixel LEDs)

LEDs are built directly into the blade along its entire length.

• Advantages: Breathtaking, realistic lighting effects (realistic blade “ignition and retraction,” high and even brightness across the entire blade, huge wow factor).

• Disadvantages: More sensitive to hard impacts and more expensive.

In short: For action: RGB. For show & visuals: Pixel.

• Proffieboard: This is the high-end board for maximum individual customization. It requires a bit more learning and must be programmed by the user.
